Doing Business with GCI

GCI’s products and services are available to the following government entities:

  • State Agencies & Authorities
  • Corrections & Law Enforcement
  • Colleges and Universities
  • City and County Governments
  • Local Boards of Education

 

GCI is also a government entity and purchases from us are considered exempt from the State Purchasing Act. This allows governments to conduct business with GCI without dollar limits and competitive bidding. These purchases are considered Intergovernmental Agreements and can be processed with a purchase order or, if needed, a contract (Intergovernmental Agreements). Click here to get started. Not a government entity? No problem. GCI’s products and services are available to non-government entities who meet at least one of the following criterion:

  • Contractors performing services for publicly funded projects
  • Private colleges and universities
  • Private prisons housing State of Georgia offenders

Warranty & Returns

Warranty
GCI will repair or replace any GCI product that is determined to be defective in materials or workmanship. GCI will determine whether a product is defective or may be reasonably evaluated as defective. GCI makes no other expressed or implied warranty regarding any product or service. Warranty Components (Partner Provided)
GCI will facilitate warranty claims to a manufacturer for partner provided components. Many items have different warranty periods and may have disclaimers that prevent replacement or repair. Please call GCI for more information as it applies to the item in question. GCI makes no other expressed or implied warranty regarding any product or service. Warranty Returns
GCI will repair or replace any GCI product that is determined to be defective in materials or workmanship. GCI will accept a return only if a Return Authorization (RA) is granted prior to shipping and is securely attached to the outside of the package. Please email customerservice@gci-ga.com or call (404) 244-5112.

Returns of Unwanted Items
GCI does not accept the return of items that are made-to-order/custom. GCI may accept returns for standard stock items that are unused, unopened and in their original packaging. A Return Authorization (RA) is required for any returned items. If granted, the customer is responsible for all freight charges and a 20% restocking fee. GCI will accept a return only if a RA is granted prior to shipping and is securely attached to the outside of the package. Please email customerservice@gci-ga.com or call (404) 244-5112.

Freight & Installation Damage
GCI may replace or repair items damaged during shipping or installation. Damage must be documented and reported to GCI within three (3) business days from delivery. Whenever possible, pictures of damaged items need to be submitted to evaluate solutions for replacement, repair or discount. Please email customerservice@gci-ga.com or call (404) 244-5112.

Lost Keys
Replacement keys are $15.00 each and can be mailed to the customer upon request. Service calls to replace or repair locks will include costs for labor and materials. Please email customerservice@gci-ga.com or call (404) 244-5112.

Can I see a sample?

Yes, we have images, photos and drawings of virtually everything we sell. Also, we may provide references to customers who have made similar purchases. Where is my order?

Do you offer other items than what is on your website?

Yes, many of our products have additional options, sizes, colors etc. that cannot be fully displayed on our website. We advertise our most popular items. Where is my invoice?
